Summary[]
Kathryn is depressed in her science lesson because she tends to disagree with the teacher. That is until she is paired up with Cyhel, a boy obsessed with science and also possesses electric based powers, who manages to make Kathryn's time in science class worth sitting through. Over the course of time, Kathryn begins to realise she has quite a crush on Cyhel, but one of the chemicals she mixes one lesson goes wrong and the fumes causes the pair of them to become the opposite of their personalities. Jarek has to choose whether or not to help Kathryn find a cure for the effect of the chemical she and Cyhel inhaled for the sake of his own feelings for Kathryn. Jarek is offered a wish by Grace when she is seen wondering the halls of the school at night sulking, and after being tempted he chooses a once-in-a-lifetime chance at going back to a period of time to change 1 thing in his life, but says he wants to wait to use this wish so he chooses the right thing. After considering it throughout the episode, and having Grace show him what could happen in certain circumstances through creating a mirror which reflects moving images, Jarek decides not to go back at all but rather for Grace to cure Kathryn and Cyhel. Hanna goes searching the Academy, in hopes of finding secret tunnels or corridors for fun, Clair (with a broken arm), Jesse and Juniper tag along. They find a magical staff that only Hanna can seem to control, but has no idea how to use. But she somehow manages to turn it into a belt to make it look like a normal fashion accessory, but little do the group know it is draining Hanna of her life energy harvesting power to bring back to life its original master, Virona. She is only brought back for a brief second before the four successfully trap her back inside the staff and return it to where they found it. Before abandoning it, Jesse snaps it in half.
